Project SPOTLIGHT 2023
This year, we are thrilled to introduce Therapeutic Paws of Canada (TPOC) as our beneficiary. TPOC’s mission is to enhance the well-being of individuals through the human-animal bond. By providing free therapy pet visitations, TPOC brings comfort, support, and smiles to those in need, including seniors, children, first responders, and individuals facing various challenges, as well as participating in disaster support and the judiciary system’s Victim Services Assistance Program.

Therapeutic Paws of Canada (TPOC)
TPOC envisions a world where the power of the human-animal bond is recognized and accessible to all. Their dedicated teams visit hospitals, schools, long-term care facilities, and more to spread joy and alleviate stress through the comfort of their four-legged companions. TPOC offers a range of programs, including therapy pet visits, educational workshops, and initiatives like “Paws for Stories,” which encourages literacy development in children. Their impact is immeasurable, touching countless lives across Canada.
This year, Project SPOTLIGHT will introduce the TPOC Paws Lounge at the 2023 Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) Convention. This exciting partnership will allow TPOC to show how therapy pets impact the lives of many by helping to reduce stress, improve communication for those who struggle, lower blood pressure, and improve an individual’s emotional state. It’s an opportunity for the insurance community to support a cause that brings warmth and healing to the lives of many.
